Are you getting no power to dash at all... or is there lights and dash but no turning over.. are you getting a fuel pump sound?

As Bibio says re the likely culprits although intermittent faults are inherently trickier to diagnose.

My problem was lights and dash on but broken/stuttering fuel pump noise, no turnover, and FI showing. Many things checked but the winner so far has been the (annoyingly simple) heavy blast of contact cleaner into the ignition followed by some graphite lock lube.
