I know what you're saying about not being able to use it on the road - but to be fair that's true of a lot of the motorbikes that I've had.

An SV1000 will quite quickly see you above 100mph and at the point of losing your license without so much as trying - hell, even a 650 can do that!

I don't want a 1000 for any other reason other than I want one. I suspect that I will at some point possibly get bored of not being able to use it and having a vehicle that can out perform my abilities by so much, but I won't know until I have one and at least give it a go!
