Everything you've heard about the PR4's is true.
You will not regret buying them.
Can't say about the PR3's personally but the 4's are supposed to offer more grip than the 3's as well as mileage.

The PR4's are light years ahead of my old PR2's in terms of handling, feedback and ride. Tons more grip on the road, wet or dry.
Like the difference between radials and bias tyres.
