Re: Michelin Pilot Road 3's
well thats my rear PR3 finally needing changed at 5k.
overall i would say a blooody fantastic tyre with mind boggling grip in the wet and dry.
the rear has held its shape more or less throughout the 5k with bad flattening of the crown half way threw but its rounded out after that and got more round towards the end which i find very strange.
i dont know if anybody else has noticed but they start to tell you they are needing changed with such hints as snaking in open tar joints and a vague feeling when turning in but still planted when leant right over.
the front is still good and held it's shape very very well and seems to be wearing evenly over the entire tread and at 5k i would say its 2/3's done. strangly i have not encountered the bad feathering of the blocks on the front like most people have.
will i be getting another one? no as i want to try the PR4 next.
