Good old Wemoto are offering the correct disk mounting bolts at an excellent price, so once I have some spare cash burning a hole in my pocket I shall be buying a big bag of them.

In the mean time, I have been stripping again...

This stuff is amazing, dab it on and leave it for half an hour, then sweep up the shavings. There is no pitting or damage to the metal underneath and what is left just needs a wash and then a light rub down to key for new paint. I am really happy with the results.

So after a wash and clean in warm soapy water I masked up the areas I do not want covered in paint when I respray the wheel. I have also blocked the threaded inserts and covered all of the bearings so I can spray it all safely and not damage anything.

Yes, that is a big pile of Technic Lego in the back ground, just because I am 42 this year does not mean that I cannot play with toys!
