I think you will find that the police have been accepting the riders own video as evidence for some time. I seem to recall a case a while back where some bloke posted his clip up on Youtube showing some "interesting" riding, and the police found him because he didn't edit the last bit off where it showed him pulling up onto his own driveway!
I somehow suspect that's not quite what you meant though.....
