i'm afraid it wont work like that. no matter what excuse you try and give them they WILL take the bike from you if they feel like it and there is NOTHING you can do about it. do you honestly think the police are going to stand there and let you peal the plastic coating off the bike.. they dont care.
as i said i'm not trying to put a downer on what you have done i'm trying to help.
you cant just go changing the colour of your bike/car anytime you feel like it or we would all be doing it.
