200 miles, 4 fuel stops? Did you mean petrol or tea?

I'd love to do a journey like that (Canada, not Portsmouth). Although I'd worry about rain and my clothes getting soaked, the daily commute is grim enough in heavy rain!

A colleague has just returned from a driving holiday Calgary, Whistler, Vancouver. That sounded good, but it was missing the bike.
