On the sv you'll need to bypass the clutch lever switch (has to have clutch in to start). Then if yours is a carbed model, it will struggle to start from cold due to having a manual choke. Also I was told many years ago that starting a bike from cold leant over on the side stand to warm up isnt ideal.
Alarms on bikes are the spawn of the devil (imo). Mine has an alarm that arms itself after 10 seconds of the ignition being switched off and you cant de activate it completly, its a p.i.t.a! Fumbling around the petrol station trying get fuel cap unlocked and ignition back on b4 the 10 seconds is up aint fun. Then if you need owt from under the pillion seat the game starts again.
Did have a look at ripping it out but who ever fitted it did a proper job so I'll leave it alone.

Haha, 10 second at fuel pump sounds funny.
I am aware that I will need to by pass the clutch and add a resistor between 2 lines near ignition to by pass immobilizer.
But I would like to go back to basic steps,
I assume I would have to wire all wires individually, and cutting the existing wires. I took off the seats and gas tank, and there just so many wires, where do I connect what? Besides the basic Live and Neutral wires?
Thanks for the reply.
