It looks like a continuation of the other Max films dropping the viewing straight into the action. The film is visually and aurally amazing afterall whats not to like about loud engines?
To sum up the plot as a car crash would be too kind and yes there are plenty of car crashes. Set in the barren wastelands of down town New york it has a feeling of a cross between Road trip and Thelma and Louise. A truck load of kidnapped models heading to a commune paradise, driven by Theron with more balls than the Neanderthal Butler, being chased by rejects of Halloween pretty much sums its up. The twist in the plot is they head back one they realise they've made a wrong turn.
Its the kind of film you can surf on your phone and watch at the same time without missing too much. 4/10 if you must
