I loved my GSXR600K2 on track. I still miss it. Although I had spent quite a lot on it I don't think I've ever been quicker just because of the confidence it gave. The K6 750 was amazing on track but I managed to highside that whereas I always managed to save the 600 somehow.

However, I do remember the SV being smooth and quick around small circuits. It never crossed my mind about highsiding when I was getting the power on yards before the more powerful bikes could. Ohlins all round probably helped as it cornered as well as anything else. But I got bored of playing catch up and stuck behind slower riders in corners and having to take more risk etc. If it was me, the screaming 600 for the track would be my first choice.
