Default Re: 95% certain of buying a new SV AL7 today 😁

One of the first things that I did was to replace the stock tyres as I found them to be very "wooden" in feel with very poor feedback. I fitted Michelin Pilot Road 4's and am absolutely delighted with them. The feel or feedback from them is a revelation especially in the wet (we get a lot of that here) and with 7,000 up they are wearing well and I confidently expect to comfortably achieve 10,000 from them. The Fuel Diablo That I am running with the baffle fitted gives a lovely deep tone without compromising that all important low down torque that is so essential to the SV,s appeal. When I was at Fuel we did recordings of the can both with baffle in and out but I would caution against these on two counts, 1) Recordings do not give a very accurately represent the true sound of the can. 2) The recordings are made with a brand new can which will sound different (better) after a few thousand miles. For what it's worth I think the Fuel Diablo sounds terrific without being offensive and is a very high quality piece of equipment which I would have no hesitation in recommending. Hope this is of help.

Geoff.
