Just been out in the garage for a look - it's freeeeezing.

Anyway, all connectors to the battery look ok.

Connectors to the starter motor look fine.

The starter relay looks clean and tidy, and the connections are solid (although that's where the noise is coming from when it won't start).

The kill switch has been doused in WD40 and flicked repeatedly. I'd be soooooo embarrassed if that was the cause ....

The side-stand cut-out has also been lubed up, and I've tried it with the stand up and down.

Still the same, when I press the starter the lights dim and the starter relay makes a slight noise. But that's all.

I think the next step is to get a cheap multi-meter and take some readings.

I'll let you know the outcome - but really appreciate the suggestions so far !!!
