You were lucky with the weather in Lewis for your trip

Your Frankenstein bike is very similar to my Handsome Dog, which was an mtb frame originally, i stuck 700c forks in it, and then 700 wheels and dropped handlebars. As it had disc mounts i could run 700 wheels in the rear, even though it was designed for 26in wheels!
