Some nice architecture shots all - something I like to try my own hand at too every now and then. I also like finding 60's relics...
This one was hiding round the back of the National Railway Museum on Wednesday last week.

Something a bit older, but more well known, was almost hiding round the back of the NRM. The weather was pants all day but had stopped raining and as I wandered over to take a pic of the Deltic above, and a well looked after 09 shunter, I had to do a double take. There have been so many people trespassing beside the main line to get a pic of this graceful old machine passing by that information on movements are not widely published yet here it was and I had it all to myself. Ironically the Deltics replaced the A3's Like Scotsman and A4's like Mallard (which was inside the NRM (which was infested with screaming kids running around)) on the East Coast Mainline which is just beside the Museum.
Now, I put my anorak down somewhere, where was it...?
