Thanks for the comments - I've got a fender extender, but it has been awhile since I changed the plug, or even went anywhere near it. Read over two years ago and 22,000 plus miles ago!

Ok so looks like I'll be cleaning everything, poking things in holes and smearing it all in handfuls of RRG.
As I have a big pot of that.
