Didn't Honda do the self driving bit on a motorbike years ago, they changed the steering geometry on the fly to keep the bike stable. I once saw a video on YouTube of a bike on ice that lost its rider and the bike was trundling around quite nicely at about 10 mph, people tried to catch it and in the end one of the other riders steered it towards a pick up truck and stopped it, will try to find video and post it.. found it.....
