Found my internet speeds on this Dell laptop were woefully slow. Checked various things as recommended by the service provider, found my old laptop was reasonably quick (60/10 down/up on a 150 service), the Dell was 10/10.
Searching the problem soon came up with issues relating to "Smartbyte" installed on Dell PCs.
Uninstalled it and back to 90/10, which is about what I'd expect. Just have to make sure it doesn't re-install (which some folk report it does depending on settings).
