Not great. To add insult to injury. They have discharged me with a sling a packet of codine and an appointment to see a specialist on the 17th. **** knows how I am going to do anything till then. Any movement of my left arm is excruciating. I'm sure they don't know the best way to fix it.

The car in front of me panic braked, he says something was in the road. I touched my brakes and the bike washed out from under me. The road was super slick. We were doing 40 in a 50.

Ride safe folks, it hurts like buggery when it goes wrong.

I might not be getting back on a bike again.

Bloody hell Martin! That’s not good news at all. Don’t know what to say except that you must allow the full time to heal up, trying to do too much, too soon will just lay in trouble for the future. The bike can be mended again once you are fit enough to do it, and you will ride again. It just seems a bit bleak and unlikely at this point, but you’ll get there and back on two wheels.

You need to get sorted anyway, in time for the possibility of either another BPW, or, if the chat comes to anything, an AR.

Hope you can get through the next few days and the pain settles down to a manageable level quickly. GWS matey.
