I checked with Shelter Cymru and with a friend’s wife who is a solicitor specialising in tenancy law Mav. They’re on firm legal ground.
Tbh it’s not so much the fact that I have to vacate the property, it’s the way it was done. Serving a section 21 notice on a tenant of 25 years standing and with a perfect rent payment record, with no discussion or explanation does not seem to me to be a very good way of doing things.
