Evenin' all. Just back from a weekend visit to The Monkey, who is now settled into her new flat in Colchester. Bit of a change from Brighton...

Quite liked the place. Lots of interesting Roman and Norman history, nice open spaces with foot and cycle paths everywhere, lots of eateries and at least one pub with a micro brewery. As it's a garrison town that also has a university campus, the place has a bit of life to it.

We're both a bit knackered now but it was a fun trip.
