It'll be worth checking the steel plates for any signs of rusting or 'blueing' from heat / slipping. The steels must also all be flat, or the clutch will drag: lay each one on a sheet of glass to check.

For what it's worth I would fit new springs too, as they are dirt cheap and they do lose their springiness over time.
