I'm getting my 9th set of 45/46'S later this week.

Now I know some don't like the loose feel they give, but they grip really well in all conditions and the looseness allows some smart cornering with bags of feedback.
they don't heatup as fast as the 49/50 setup but last a lot longer.

I get about 6,500-7,000 to a rear and can just about manage two rears to a front.

I've tried the Bridgestone’s & Dunlop’s (even a set of Rensport's (1850 mls out of rear)), but find this setup works well on the SV, I don't think I'd use it on a heavier bike, but on the light SV, it's fine.

74,000 miles and not a walking pace, speaks volumes. They work; it's just some people interpreter the loose feeling as lack of control, as opposed to more manoeuvrability.

Cheers Mark.
