Well I was prepared to hang out until i got the new one BUT

I was working on the bike today (gixxer 1000 shock conversion) so i had to strip down the rear.

Now i have checked everytime before riding the hamicad, however obviously my check of wabbling it a tad was insufficient as here below is a picture or 2 of the hairline cracks forming

so i have gone back to the snowshovel for the meantime.

So all i will add is the following mine was fitted in end of march start of april this year and has about 2,500 miles on it.
