I only suffered with carb icing slightly over a period of a couple of weeks this winter JUST PASSED. The only other thing that happened due to the weather was that I had a bit of condensation build up in the carbs. Was about to drain the carbs when it eventually ran through and started running fine again.

I used the higher grade fuel and and think that kept a lot of the ice carbing at bay. And on another note, I just serviced the bike and changed the plugs. Having used the bike all the way through the winter I was pleasantly surprised to find that the front plug was completely clean and not one sign of any rust what so ever. In fact it was in such good condition I could have put it back in and carried on using it. This is all thanks to the extender fender that I fitted just before the winter.
