Which year are your SV's?

I ordered a round Viper alloy can for my 05 SV650S, and just got an e-mail from slickbikes that the Viper importer informed him that
"the design was altered after 2002 and the silencer will not fit bike made after that year."
I was offered an ART can (for a few £ more) , and I guess I'll be just as with that one as the Viper.
