Having failed to find roads with corners here in Michigan, I am turning to trackdays to stop my tyres wearing out only in the middle. I have done a few in the UK, on sportier bikes, so it's going to be interesting to see how the SV does. List of stuff to do:
Fit Pirelli Diablos
Fit R6 throttle tube
More rear preload
Tape up everything
change coolant (anti freeze is banned, as it's slippy)

Yeah, that last bit is a pain. Trackdays here seem to be much more serious affairs than in the UK. I had to search to find a company that doesn't ask me to lock wire every bolt! So, to get to the point - has anyone run a non-antifreeze coolant in their SV before? I need to use just distilled water or a race coolant, but I'm worried about the effect on the pump (the manual says the anitfreeze lubricates it).
