Have the service done early Rich, that way if there's a breakdown BMW Motorrad won't claim they can't pick you up because you breached their terms and conditions etc and also it could invalidate their warranty (you know they're fussy) and looking on UKGSers it could well be you're going to need it

Also rear pads seem to wear extraordinarily quickly on the GS12 so have those checked too.
