It should just be an adjustment of the Idle as suggested. When I had my first and 4k services they buggered up the idle and it kept stalling which was dangerous as it always seemed to do it on a roundabout. Since I adjusted it myself (I like it slightly high at 1500) I never had a problem since and the bike's never been back to a dealer either

So basically do it yourself, it's just a twist of a knob on a curvy and I would think the same for a pointy.
