To be honest I never gave it a second thought on the SV but at once it seemed a fiddle on the GS, must be some feature of the overall ergonomics.
So SV opens same way...maybe there's something in the story, or maybe it deflects fuel away from you if it pops open or something (or you leave it open a bit
)
