Hi peter, the bike seems to rev just as fast in second and third, just not as high in second, I think I will leave the wires, don't want to break it. I have no prejudices against the carbs, I would rather play with the standard jets and lift the throttle slide needle. Do I need to drill out the hole in the top of the throttle slide as you do if fitting dynojet kit? I don't commute on my SV so economy isn't an issue, I get about 20 to gallon out of my other bike when I ride it hard!
