From memory the datatool peimeter switch is not bothered wether made or open the alarm just looks for a change of state. For future reference always put the alarm into service mode before disconnecting battery etc.

Yeah it was in service mode when I disconnected the batt. BTW I noticed your from plymouth .. have you checked out
southwestbikers. Great for hooking up with bikers in the local area.
