That aside,yes he must face up to the consequences and difficult as it will be for you...you must see that he repays you for the cost of the repairs. He is not a child anymore and must feel the impact of his wrong doing.
Dont you hate it when some short a*se gets the attitude? If I could have resisted slapping him, I would have asked big boy to ask his friend to move away so that you could both discuss the matter sensibly.
