Okies, 2 things, take the allen head out and slide the outer sleeve back a bit. If you see packing, then its a race can with an unusual baffle in place. if you cant, then its a road legal can. Yes it will sound better than stock. Are you sure 'competition use only' has been rubbed out and just not stamped in the 1st place. Has it got a BS Stamp anywhere on the can?

It certainly looks like a road legal can from what i remember when i used to hep out up there.

Yes, most definetely sure the for competition use has been polished out you can partly see the outline of the words on it and you can see the polish amrks.

Took the end off and there is packaging there albeit a bit blown apart Seems it is an unmoveable baffle then. Just odd that my old renegades were straight through. This must have been installed by renegade to 'quieten' it down a little.
