I have the previous shape 2.2 SRi and think it's a great car. It's happy to cruise at 3 figures, roomy enough to get the family in and I like the shape etc. The 2.2 is quite torquey, it's not match for for BMW330, but it's built relatively well. It also give a fairly firm ride, which I prefer.

I am considering down sizing actually, so the new Focus ST is sitting at the top of my list. In the Mondeo stakes, the ST220 is a nice motor, but a fair few quid more expensive...
