Tom, you can run the circuit through the neutral light.
My mate has a remote start on his Bandit. He starts the bike from inside the house and then puts his gear on, by the time he gets out to the bike it's nicely warmed up!
It's a great laugh at petrol pumps, start it while you're in the queue and watch the reactions.
