Also due to the nakedness, rain water tends to collect in the front of the radiator. When you stop and put the bike on its stand, it pours out. First time this happened to me (coupled with burning smell) I thought my radiator was f***ed!
For ref anyway though, coolant level can be checked on the reservoir on the left side of the bike (as you sit on it), just behind the frame. (well for pointy's - not sure if it's the same on curvy's)  |

Just been out to check her, yep the coolant level's are good, right on the F.
Oil level is good
Must be the crud n stuff off the road, funny you mentioned the fact that when you stop and put her on the stand, you see a load of, what looks like, boiling water pi$$ing out. Yep had the twitchy bum too when I saw that.
