River Ouse has burst its banks in many areas of the Ouse, with wide spread flooding in the City Centre.

This school is just around the corner from me.
I had to take the long way around to work this morning as the flood gates were shut and river embankments flooded.
Not seen it yet but no doubt my favorite lunchtime drinking establishment will be underwater (again) too.. the
Kings Arms at Kings Snaith in the centre.
Why oh Why, dont they dredge the river... It would go someway to elivating this problem.
