True. But the DJ stge 1 in particular is, I think, misspecced, and if you do choose to interpret it as being a kit of parts for use with a dyno (ie, you discount the R&D cost) then it's absurdly expensive.
Basically, you get several jets that are ridiculously small, and a poor range of larger ones. I think the largest is 144 or 146, while the smallest is either 134 or 136. That's just daft. That's why my assumption is that it was specced out for the very early, restrictive K&N and never revised.
