This again? How many times will it be necessary to go over the differences?
Anyway, it won't matter which type, 'X' or 'O' - they're both sealed chains and do the same thing, from my own certain knowledge there is an immeasurably small difference in the performance of one type of seal to that of the other.
The difference is theoretical only, the grade of chain is the important factor, not the style of the seals.
