Default AR08 - Where do you want to go, Vote Here

OK peeps its voting time.

We've had four excellent suggestions for a base for next years festivities, thanks to everybody that’s been kind enough to put some thought into this and come up with a suggestion.

Option 1 - Gettin2Dizzy / WRC63 - The North East Knock About

Whitfield to Alston
Alston to Hartside Top Cafe (Lunch Stop - covers the safe, less challenging side of Hartside - also presents an opportunity for the hooners to blat down the other side before rejoining if they eat quickly)
Return to Alston
Alston to Stanhope via stunning Weardale, through Ireshopeburn, Westgate, Eastgate
Stanhope to Barnard Castle via Eggleston
Barnard Castle to campground via Staindrop, Burnt Houses, Butterknowle

Should be about 120m with tweaks.
Option 2 - Vipers Somerset Spectacular

We have a 400 acre farm in Bruton / Wincaton area in Somerset. We also have a Farm shop etc.
We would be able to offer FREE camping for all attending. We would also be prepared to put up toilets and showers and a marquee, in which we would be able to offer hot food and drinks on site, such as a Hog Roast, Tea, Coffee, Burgers, Hot Dogs, Jacket spuds and for breakfast Sausage, egg, bacon, toast etc.

The plan is tio try and keep everybody together "on site" as much as possible. AR07 was fantastic but i reckon if we had hot food on site we could have stayed on site and got to know each other more.
Fizz and myself have spoken about routes for rideouts and we have some fantastic roads around here that i am sure would suit all abilities.

I thought we could all Pre Book and charge a fixed fee for the weekend to include all food. I reckon £30 (ish) per person all in should cover it. For this we could provide Friday Evening Meal, Saturday Brekkie, Saturday Night meal and Sunday Morning Brekkie so thats 4 meals and camping all for £30 ish each. Though this will depend on confirmed numbers and payment will be required up front on booking your spot.
Option 3 -Viney's South Wales Extravaganza

Simple as really.
Option 4 - Xan173, Invasion of the Valleys

Xan was kind enough to offer this up as well, it’s a repeat of the Invasion of the Valleys weekend he successfully ran this year. More details here

http://invasionofthevalleys.blogspot.com/

So vote for where you'd like next years AR08 to be, The poll will stay open until the end of September so that’s two months for everybody to vote on where they'd like to go and then it'll be locked. Once the location is sorted and we've got agreement for the people who have proposd that they can indeed host the weekend then the date will be up for the vote as well. The date poll will run for a further two months, this means that the final location and date will be annouced on the 1st December*. Which should hopefully give everybody enough notice to sort out travel arrangements and book time off work.

*the final result might not be the venue / date with the most votes, if for logistical / organisational reasons another venue / date is deemed to be more suitable.
