If you want an alternative tyre choice check out the Michelin Pilot Power 3 & the Michelin Pilot Power 2CT. I have the latter & find them fantastic in wet or dry conditions. The life of them is also good so far-front is on 6k & has plenty of tread left & the rear is on 4K and probably has another 4k left in it. This is on a heavier more powerful bike as well.
