My current force has totally civilianised the whole CJU team. I didnt actually think that cops still undertook these roles, and Pete, your thoughts were my sentiments too.

I would say that I have done pretty decent files during my short service however I never anticipated going onto a file checking team so early in my service and particularly with the transfer. They did say it was a permanent placement so I guess I am going to have to apply to community teams etc when they arise. The only problem I see with that is that no-one has actually been able to see my graft on a shift, which could put me at a disadvantage to those coming from response teams.

On a twist, I might actually see when theyre recruiting for air support, as I really fancy doing that at some stage.
