Re: Commuting Tyres
Now got about 8,000 on them.
The rear is starting to square but not badly enough to notice on the road. I suspect I can get another 3,000 at least out of it. Which is good - I calculated my costs on 8,000 - 9,000 per pair of tyres at £200 a pair - I am now looking at 11,000 to 12,000 per pair - a saving of about £300 over 3 years!!
The front is looking good. I was a little cautious about the fact that the front was a very flat profile, but it works well. The front will last alot longer than the rear. The cost was eventually higher than the £168 I had hoped for, but I have got a got deal of value from them,
Do they break away? Only if I am acting the idiot!
