Thanks for all the replies and support everyone. It really means a lot.


It's been a very difficult week. We left Cornwall a couple of days early and made our way up to my parents' house to be with my Dad. I can't describe the feeling being there without my Mum there. An emptiness like I've never known. Lots of sadness, but gladly some smiles too. Everyone's still slightly in shock I think. I keep feeling like everything is normal and then having that rush of realisation and remembering that this is all really happening. Especially waking up in the mornings.



I'm back trying to distact myself with bike decisions again now and preparing for a couple more difficult weeks ahead as preparations are made for funeral etc.
