Default Richa Typhoon rainsuit

Needed a new waterproof as my old Spada two piece was no longer keeping the wet out. On the recommendation of Ride magazine I bought the Richa Typhoon one piece.
Pros:
  • Totally waterproof. I rode back from Yorkshire to Wales last week in mostly torrential rain and I was bone dry all the way.
  • Decent, high collar which stops crash helmet runoff going down my neck.
  • Lined, so nice and cosy in the cold weather.
  • Long zip so easy to get on, especially if you put a carrier bag over your boot before putting your foot into the legs.
  • The suit stuffs into it's own built in pouch, and has straps which allow the stored suit to be worn around the waist.
Cons: just a couple of minor niggles really.
  • No outside pocket, which would be useful for the container with my earplugs.
  • The backside of the suit doesn't grip the bike seat so you end up sliding about on it. I'll need to by one of those grippy seat covers to rectify this.

I bought a size larger than my normal size which gave me enough room in the oversuit when worn over my leathers.
Mine came from Sportsbikeshop and was around £43.00 with free delivery.
