I thought I knew Essex really well but today I found a nature reserve I've never visited before.
The cafe was cut off due to the high tide, but an hour later all the water in this area had gone again.
Loads of birds, many just arrive for the winter, which you can't see in the pics as these were just taken on my phone. There are little bridges all across the marshes but we stuck to the main path today.
There's also a lighthouse boat.
