Default Re: Vintage film cameras

I've got a Contessa LK (viewfinder type) in a drawer, the rear element is pretty hazy but otherwise it's fine. I bought it to swap out the same in a Contessa LKE (rangefinder, E=entfernungmesser), and tried to get it clear again, but I think the surface is etched. The meter works, it's missing one tab off a ring, but otherwise is in good shape. I expect any 50mm f2.8 Tessar rear element would do, so if you see a busted camera around then you could have this one and swap out the rear glass, takes literally minutes. As it is now though the flare is too bad to be used, the rear element is the most important as it's nearest the film, I learned that the hard way.
