This phenomenon (called 'hydrolock' from hydraulic lock) is fairly common on Kawasaki Concourses, caused by a combination of crappy petcock and leaky float valves, and has been known to cause bent rods.

I didn't use as high as 6th. I was familiar with doing it on a 1000cc Ducati, which was relatively easy. Now that the cylinder is clear of fuel I tried it again, & it's more difficult to do it with the SV.
