If you can fit a head bearing and bleed brakes, then you should be able to do it. It's not totally simple, but it's also not nearly as hard as you'd assume, any competent DIY mechanic should be able to manage it... But as a total novice... Well, it's doable but it'd be a big ask.

That's built with K2 forks instead of SRAD, I don;t like the SRAD mudguard basically...
Here it is with the same yokes but newer forks. Also a Fireblade fitment front wheel and SP-2 discs
But that starts to get a wee bit more fiddly!
